| Youth Leadership Forum 2006 |
Sultan Jihad Ahmad Community Foundation & Comcast Foundation's Youth Leadership Forum that will address the issues of violence in the City of Philadelphia. We think that you have the answers to bringing about awareness along with helping to educate fellow students, teachers, school administrators, counselors, parents and the public on effective ways to prevent and/or reduce youth violence. Through a series of workshops, students will focus on specific violence prevention strategies promoting social interaction, communication, volunteerism, which will also include respect and tolerance, and resolving conflicts peacefully. During these workshops we hope to demonstrate the positive role that young people can have in help making their school and community a safe place to live and learn. |
