Founded in 1826, the Glen Mills School is the oldest residential school in the country for troubled youth. It is dedicate to providing a realistic, true to life vocational training facility for its students in turf management and golf house operations. Net proceeds from the operation of the golf course go to the student scholarship fund. Playing on the Golf Course at Glen Mills is a unique and memorable experience. According to General Manager Paul Stuhmiller, “Glen Mills is run like any other course, but we are here to change the lives of young people and help carry out the school motto ‘Service to Youth’.
